Environmental Policy
  • We already use recycled paper where appropriate and/or paper from sustainable sources
  • Our paper suppliers are all FSC or PEFC accredited
  • We reduce our energy bills through the use of a revolutionary heating system which utilises water from an underground spring: this water enters the pump at a constant year-round 10 degrees and the latent heat is then stored and used to boost the factory heating system
  • The factory is, in itself, remodelled - it used to be a trout farm - and a tree planting scheme is in operation
  • We use vegetable based inks
  • All waste paper is recycled by accredited specialists
  • All cleaning rags are accounted for and sent for recycling and re-use
  • All ink tins are collected for specialist disposal
  • All printing plates are collected and recycled
  • All chemistry is collected by certified disposal experts with accurate documentation
  • All deliveries are scheduled to gain maximum efficiency from the least miles travelled - we are also proud of the fact that 80% of our employees travel less than 3 miles to get to work
  • Supplies are sourced locally as much as possible
  • All our offices use energy efficient light bulbs
  • All pallets are collected and re-used or recycled
  • Paper offcuts are given to local schools where they are used as play and learning resources
